The Lefferts Manor Association works in many ways to make our neighborhood a pleasant place to live. It speaks on the community's behalf to elected officials, city agencies and other organizations and work to correct problems that affect our quality of life. The LMA sponsors the Prospect Lefferts Gardens House and Garden Tour in late May, a neighborhood party in December, and two general meetings each year. Membership dues support the publication of the Lefferts Manor Echo, a community newspaper published five times a year, the planting of neighborhood flower barrels each spring, and distribution of holiday wreaths in December.
